What’s the difference between shared and dedicated hosting?

The difference between shared and dedicated hosting is the type of hosting server your website is on. With shared hosting, your website is hosted with other websites which are all using the sharing the servers’ resources. With dedicated hosting plans, your website has a server all to itself or has its own dedicated resources so will have consistent performance.

Do I need an SSL Certificate?

Yes. An SSL encrypts data sent through your website. The internet is a public network so information sent over it is at risk of being stolen. An SSL certificate protects the information being exchanged with your website and its visitors. All website owners have a duty to protect their users data so an SSL certificate is required.
